2018 Camry Gives You Something for Nothing
The Toyota Camry is one of the most popular vehicles in the United States, a fact that does not seem like it’s going to change in 2018. The 2018 Toyota Camry is slated to get several new standard features without a significant increase in price. These new features come mostly in the form of new electronics in the interior, but buyers can also expect a few tweaks to the exterior of the new Camry, as well as an exciting new color.
New Standard Features
The 2018 Toyota Camry comes with a slew of new electronics and standard features to make the interior more comfortable and riding inside more convenient. These include Toyota’s Entune navigation and media system that comes installed right in the vehicle’s dashboard. Android phone owners may also be excited to know that the new Camry comes with a Qi wireless smartphone charging station that keeps your phone battery full as long as it is synced to the charging station.
Neither of these new features may be available on all versions of the new Camry. Buyers may have to set their sights on the premium models. However, these new features are available with no increases in price from the 2016 models of the Camry.
Changes to the Exterior
The exterior of the 2018 Camry remains quite similar to the 2016 model. However, the new model is available in a new color: a jazzy and eye-catching electric blue. This color used to only be available on the Camry Special Edition but it can now be applied to standard models for no cost.
Under the hood, the 2018 Camry comes with a 2.5-liter engine and a 6-speed transmission. It has a roomy interior that seats five people. While the Camry has never been a high-performance vehicle – at least not without significant modifications – it is a reliable vehicle with a good track record in terms of vehicle safety. It usually gets 24 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
