There’s no denying that manufacturers are building better cars these days. They typically last far longer than your grandfather’s automobile. Today’s vehicles are made to last. But even the best engineering using the highest-quality materials can’t produce a car that doesn’t require routine maintenance.
Performing regularly scheduled maintenance is one of the inevitable responsibilities that come with owning an automobile. At Toyota our projected five-year cost of ownership is usually much lower than leading competitors’ vehicles. Part of the reason for that has to do with our generous ToyotaCare program. Cost-of-ownership takes into account long-term costs associated with owning and operating a vehicle, and involves everything from fuel economy, to maintenance and repair costs.
Thanks to Toyota’s two-year or 25,000-mile no cost factory maintenance plan, the cost of ownership for most Toyota vehicles is far less than you might expect. When it comes time to perform scheduled maintenance, we recommend you contact your local Western Pennsylvania Toyota Dealer for an appointment at one of our Service Centers.
Need to know when your particular vehicle is scheduled for factory-recommended maintenance? Just click on your vehicle and you’ll find everything you need. Most maintenance events occur every six months or 5,000 miles, and they include safety and performance items, such as rotating the tires, inspecting and adjusting fluid levels, and checking on the status of the braking system. Depending on your specific driving habits and conditions, we may also inspect things like the air filter, ball joints, and drive shaft boots. All you have to do is schedule a convenient appointment at your local dealer. We’ll do the rest.
